Content: Basic level - Hindustani Violin - Swar (musical notes)  - Elementary violin playing skills – left hand and bowing  - Alankārs  - Essential concepts of Taal (rhythm) and Laya (tempo)  - Basics of Ragas and its components - Gain practical expertise through ‘Bandishes’ (compositions) across different ragas, enhancing musical skills through hands-on application of acquired knowledge  - Basic finger and bow techniques on the Violin (left hand and right hand) - Specialised violin techniques to enhance finger flexibility and tonal quality on the violin Intermediate Level - Hindustani Violin - Raga Elaboration with Alaap, Taan and Boltaan  - Different Ragas - Art of Gayaki Ang, learning to replicate precise vocal expressions on the violin - Explore semi-classical forms such as ‘Thumri’, ‘Dadra’, ‘Bhajan’, ‘Abhang’ etc. - Enhance proficiency in all aspects covered in the basic level course  - Acquire the ability to learn new songs by ear and notate them effectively  - Practice sessions and perfection
