Jaya Thiagarajan is a passionate and accomplished individual with dual Bachelor's degrees in Carnatic Music and Political Science. She has received extensive training from renowned maestros including her own grandfather, Smt. Sita Rajan, Sri Raja Shanmugam, Sangeeta Kalanidhi Sri D.K. Jayaraman, Sri S. Rajam, Sri S.R.Janakiraman, Sri K.S. Krishnamurthy, and Sangeeta Kalanidhi Sri Nedunuri Krishnamurthy. She is a graded radio artiste with All India Radio. Jaya’s commitment to spreading the joy of Carnatic music, adjudicating competitions, and promoting the art through various associations reflects her dedication to preserving and evolving this rich legacy. She is also a qualified teacher, contributing to holistic development through music. In 2006, Jaya Thiagarajan released the music CD "Bhakti Arpana," showcasing songs in seven languages, highlighting the universal appeal of music. Jaya Thiagarajan's journey as a musician is characterized by a deep passion for the art and a commitment to sharing its profound impact with a wide audience.
