Ananjan Chakrabarty

Ananjan Chakrabarty, son of the renowned Hindustani classical vocalist Padmashree Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty and Smt. Chandana Chakraborty, hails from a family deeply rooted in music. His elder sister, Kaushiki Chakraborty, is a great vocalist in the realm of Hindustani classical music. His parents founded 'Shrutinandan,' a prestigious institution fostering young talent in the field. Ananjan's musical journey encompassed both vocal and rhythmic instrumental music, with Tabla training from Shri Mallar Ghosh. He pursued sound engineering at Mumbai's Digital Academy under the guidance of Mr. Daman Sood.
Upon returning to Kolkata, Ananjan contributed his expertise to the newly established studio at Shrutinandan. In 2012, he completed a short-term internship in Sound and Recording Arts at Omen Room Studios in Los Angeles, USA. In 2013, Ananjan produced 'Sur Prabaaha,' his first album, as a heartfelt tribute to his father, showcasing his skills in composition, production, recording, and mixing.

In the subsequent years, he worked on various projects, including pop albums and collaborations with renowned music directors. Ananjan's dedication to music education led him to establish Ananjan Studio, where he offers courses in Music Production and Music Business, nurturing the next generation of musicians and preserving India's musical heritage. His journey continues to inspire and shape the industry, carrying forward his family's esteemed musical legacy.
