Aditya Vidyadhar Oke
A 4th generation Harmonium and Reed Organ player, Aditya started accompanying his father and guru, Pt. Dr. Vidyadhar Oke right from when he was just 7 years old.
He had the privilege of receiving guidance from Dr. Oke’s guru, the Maestro himself, Late Pt. Govindrao Patwardhan.
An expert in various harmonium playing styles, Aditya gave solo performances in the USA at the age of 17, and has accompanied many a stalwart such as Pta. Asha Bhosale, Pt. Jasraj, Ustad Rashid Khan, Begam Parveen Sultana, Suresh Wadkar, Kavita Krishnamoorthy, Kaushiki Chakravarti, Jayateerth Mevundi, Rahul Deshpande, Savani Shende, Arti Ankalikar, Mahesh Kale and Anand Bhate. He along with Satyajit Prabhu has performed in more than 130 shows of an unique program based on Harmonium, "Jaduchi Peti" / " Bemisaal Baaja"
Besides Classical Music, he has played Harmonium for over 150 films and advertisements. He has been an associate music director for Marathi films such as Balagandharva and Ajintha, and has worked as a music arranger for Katyar Kaljat Ghusli and Bandish Bandits on Amazon Prime. He has worked for bollywood composers like AR Rehman, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Saleem Suileman, Shantanu Moitra, Ashok Patki, Kaushal Inamdar, Salil Kulkarni, Avdhoot Gupte and many more.
Aditya completed his Diploma in Sound Engineering in 2008 in Digital Academy, Mumbai under the guidance of Stalwart sound engineers Mr. Daman Sood, Mr. Mujeeb Dadarkar and Mr. Vijay Benegal. After completion of diploma he received guidance of Mr. Vijay Dayal, Chief Sound Engineer YRF Studios.
He is expertly conversant with DAW’s like Protools, Nuendo and Cuebase. He is also expert in doing live sound and setups. He has been sound engineer for many prestigious festivals like Vasantotsav in Pune. He has also worked for Nearly 50 films as Sound and Film Mixing engineer. He has his own state of the art recording studio, Audioarts, operational for last 12 years and have recorded more than 250 projects so far.
Also being one of the finest harmonium player of the country adds to special touch to his sound technique.
